In the fall of each year, hundreds of thousands of migrating waterfowl arrive on the Katy/Brookshire prairie to roost in potholes and eat rice, corn, and soybeans left in the fields after harvest. Katy/Brookshire is on the upper Texas coast and hosts more waterfowl per acre than anywhere in America.

Butch’s Guide Service offers professionally run guided hunts, using rag spreads and retrievers,on prime hunting property minutes from Houston.

Through careful year-round habitat maintenance, Butch’s Guide Service is able to provide prime waterfowl habitat each year. They restrict hunter populations to reduce hunting pressure in the area, helping insure a successful hunt.
